Understanding the Client's Requirements
A customer required an extruded plastic profile that could be delivered ready for downstream assembly rather than as continuous extrusion lengths. In addition to profile extrusion, the component required controlled cut lengths, accurately positioned holes and slots, surface identification and final assembly operations according to the customer's drawing.

How We Engineered the Answer
OKAWA integrated extrusion and secondary processing into a coordinated manufacturing workflow based on the customer's finished-component drawing. After extrusion, profiles were cut to the required lengths and processed with the specified holes, slots and other features. Printing, marking, protective film application or assembly could be incorporated where required by the project. Inspection points were arranged around critical dimensions and processing features before final assembly and packaging, allowing the customer to receive components prepared for the next stage of production rather than unprocessed extrusion lengths.
